Kelli Briggs is a graduate of the Dance Education Program at Brigham Young University. In her time at BYU, Kelli received full tuition dance scholarships, served as Dance Major President, and participated in various performing companies including: Contemporary dancEnsemble, Theatre Ballet, Kinnect, and Contemporary Dance Theatre. She has presented at dance research conferences, taught master classes, toured, and performed extensively with these companies internationally in Beijing, China, and Copenhagen, Denmark, and nationally in California, Washington, Nevada, Virginia, and Utah. Previous to her time at BYU, Kelli served as the resident Dance Master at Rising Star Outreach of India, instructing 600 leprosy-affected students, grades K-10, in creative dance. Kelli has a diverse skill set and enjoys many styles of movement including yoga, pilates, aerobics, ballet, jazz, contemporary, and ballroom. In 2015, she and her ballroom partner held the title of U.S. National Amateur Cabaret Champions. In 2018, Kelli coached the state championship-winning Bountiful High School Drill Team and Dance Company. Her current professional work includes teaching and freelance choreography for local studios and dance companies. She is very excited to be on board with the amazing faculty and students at Dance Impressions!
