Tade Biesinger – 2012, 2013 Star, Billy Elliott
At the age of seven, Tade Biesinger began dancing at Dance Impressions. His talents and flexibility were quickly recognized and he was invited to participate in our Company program. As a member, he performed in Ballet West’s Nutcracker and also Madame Butterfly. Competing nationally, Tade was named West Coast Dance Explosion’s Mini National Male Elite Dancer in 2009 and National Mini Outstanding Dancer at New York City Dance Alliance in 2010. While in NYC, he was also spotted and invited to audition for the Broadway hit show, Billy Elliott and enjoyed living in NYC for the 2011-2012 season performing in the lead role. In 2013, Tade was invited across the Atlantic to once again pick up his ballet shoes and boxing gloves and perform as Billy in London, England. After Tade’s participation in Billy Elliott, he came back to Utah and finished his training with us at Dance Impressions. He competed in various national competitions winning a variety of dance scholarships. Biesinger is currently attending Marymount Manhattan College in New York City as a scholarship recipient.

Mattie Love – 2010 Winner, NYCDA National Teen Outstanding Dancer
Mattie Love began dancing at Dance Impressions as a very small girl. Progressing quickly and winning multiple awards a many local competitions along the way, Mattie was named the New York City Dance Alliance (NYCDA), National Teen Outstanding Dancer, in 2010. As a recipient, she was invited to tour the US with NYCDA as an assistant. Additionally, Mattie was awarded over $80,000 in College Scholarships by the NYCDA College Scholarship Program. Love attended and graduated Marymount Manhattan College in New York City on a dance scholarship and most recently performed with the Rockettes in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Sabra Johnson – 2007 Winner, So You Think You Can Dance
Sabra Johnson began her formal dance training at the age of 16 with Dance Impressions in our Bountiful Studio under the direction of mother-daughter team Kandee Allen and Vivian Colobella. She then moved down to Las Vegas, NV, and trained at The Dance Zone under the direction of another Colobella daughter, Kaydee Francis and partner Jami Artiga. Johnson’s dance training consisted of jazz, ballet and contemporary, a strong background in gymnastics, some experience in hip hop, modern, tap, and theater. Her favorite style of dancing is contemporary. Prior to auditioning for So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD), Johnson was enjoying her fourth year of dancing. Johnson had a backup role on the hit film High School Musical as a skater in the scene: “Stick to The Status Quo.” After SYTYCD, Sabra Johnson performed with Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet; danced throughout Mexico and Europe; and is currently dancing in Vietnam professionally.
